'Ralph' has been a member of our family for eight years and is definately the 'stable clown'. Playful and mischievious he has never grown up.

Ralph has achieved outstanding results in the Dressage Arena and the Show Ring, but cronic arthritis in the hocks prevents him from continuing up the dressage levels.
His collection of Champion Ribbons continue to grow each show season with the Show Hunter class his speciality. Retired from competition Ralph enjoys light riding at home.
Although challenging, at times, under saddle, his wonderful temperament, character and a need for special care guarantee Ralph will always be part of our family.

'Lizzie', often referred to as our 'Princess' is very worthy of the name. A lady in looks and movement she is also very particular about her routine and dislikes changes in her home environment.

Liz's playful temperament often brings a smile as she nibbles the back of your leg whilst you undo the front of her rug and she delights in pulling the correct end of the rope to gain freedom after being tied up.
Her outings always bring home a broad ribbon or two.
Lizzy has outstanding performances in Show Horse at Royal level, Stock Horse and Dressage at National level

Bazil is well known in more than one State for his years of success in the show ring and his reputation for being the perfect child's galloway.

Those of us who have been lucky enough to own Bazil have learnt the meaning of priceless.
100% dependable and always in the winner's circle even now as a school master, Bazil still brings home the ribbons from the Royal Shows.

Currently being campaigned by Kelly Smith, Bazil has taken Kelly from Pony Club to Champion Rider at Ag Shows and places at her first Royal Show in just a few months. A true testiment of a talented, up and coming junior rider and a very special pony.

Howard is owned by Mandy Smith, Huckleberry Downs Performance Horses, and Kirra was fortunate enough to campaign him in the dressage ring and show ring 2008/2009.

Never out of the placings and always a broad ribbon winner, Howard performed equally well in the dressage arena at State and National level. If you are looking for the perfect performance horse take a look at Mandy's web site through our Links page.

Howard will always be remembered by us for his wonderful education and perfect temperament, a true testiment to Mandy's ability to train young horses.
Now back home with his mate 'Huckleberry', Kirra enjoys catching up with Howard when she spends time at Huckleberry Downs furthering her education training with Mandy.

Whilst Lizzie's colour is natural with only a little makeup around her eyes and mouth, Kirra uses
Show Pony Colour
to enhance the darkness of her legs. Colour lasts up to eight weeks, does not come off on boots, bandages, gloves or show attire. Simple, safe and quick to use cuts preparation time down to just a few minutes.

Chester retired from a very successful racing career in 2009
After being broken to saddle, Hannah, his new owner, sent him to
Mandy Smith of Huckleberry Downs Performance Horses, Toowoomba
for some basic education under saddle.
Four weeks later Chester made his debut in the dressage arena and brought home two broad ribbons from his first two tests.
Many coments were made on the day in regard to his stunning looks and in particular his wonderful education. In fact the judge refused to believe that he had only just come from the trotting track and had been in work for only four weeks.
Another true testiment to Mandy's talent as an educator and ability to
train horses from all backgrounds.
Chester works softly and kindly on the bit, is light in front and although still developing his canter has brought home a blue ribbon at every show.

Sy joined our team in 2010.
Purchased from the well known Chalani Stud Sy is a credit to his breeder Kim Ide. Standing 16hh as an unbroken three year old his ground training is exceptional. Westerly arrived at our home in July 2011
After show jumping and eventing for some time, his previous owner Stephen Bow decided Westerly would be better suited to Dressage.
At 17.1hh he is the 'sook' of the stables. With a 'ghost' behind most objects we think it is a true testiment to Stephen's ability
that he ever got him over a fence!
Dressage is certainly where his talent lies with his first outing resulting in Reserve Champion and points on his dressage card.
Still early days, but Kirra and Westerly have a big future together and we look forward to many succesful competitions as their education increases.
Westerly has a wonderful temperament, can be taken from the paddock to the work area with no problems. Has oodles of character, is the largest 'chicken' we have on the farm and is very much loved in our home.
